I've been to Dixons, but never to the Fair. Year after Year I vow to make it, come Hell or High Water, yet, again this Year, I find I cannot make it, even though relatively speaking I don't live all that far from it.

I feel like Moses staring across at the Promised Land...

last full weekend of July, they have a web site-just punch in Dixon's Muzzleloading Shop n it ought to get ya there

Where's a transporter beam when you need one? :surrender: Honestly I live in a blackhole when it comes to clubs, fairs, and rondy's. :(

if all goes as planned n health don't rear its ugly head I'm gonna try for Friday as well, if there I'll be in my usual spot helping out Knapper at the bottom of the wooden stairs leading up to the shop OR WALKING AROUND checking all the prettys out

I'll be there Saturday and possibly Sunday manning the Garden State Black Powder Association booth.

why not be like me and be there all three days, you never can get enough of a great thing.

Will be there sat and sunday. Better find some place to stay, anybody know the accomodations available. I see the ones on there web site but dont know the area to say how convienent to Dixons thay are.

about 10 miles east of the exit to dixons, off of rt.78 on rt.100 there is about three motels around the clover leaf for rt.100 and a bunch of food services the other choices would be in kutztown or reading areas.good luck

getting there Fri. (or hope to) And I should be there all three days. while I dunno 'bout hotels I personally am staying at the Blue Rocks Campground. short drive to and from and a decent camp area too. Last year I brought my Bell Tent and the Admin stopped and asked me all kinds of questions and took pictures quite amusing to me.

Thanks for the come back, I called the supper 8 in kutztown and got hooked up with room. Bedroll is getting thin for the old bones, besides aint worth draging a camp for one night. see ya there.
