DIY Jug Choke

Any yall tried a do-it-yourself jug choke?
How much metal actually has to be removed from the bore diameter for it to be effective? Over how long of a length?

Yes. I made a mandrill ages ago and did a Pedersoli double. Imp& Mod.

Use to be a Gent on here that did it, went by the handle Coyote Joe. Miss him.....he used wooden mandrills I think.

I started wondering if the easy way for DIY could simply be gradual metal removal with an electric drill and an abrasive charged compression head on a rod.
