Does anybody have knowledge of a modern Longrifle maker, who signed his firearms DMeyer?

I examined a beautiful longrifle today. I found there was a rectangular brass plate, inlayed into the top flat of the barrel, with the name DMeyer, 1976, engraved into the inlay.

There was a good repair of a wrist break, on the stock. The stock was made out of beautifully tiger striped wood. The asking price was $2000.00.

I don't think the dealer would budge 10 cents, on the price.
