Hey all,
I recently came into an 1851 repro buying an auction lot. It's definitely an older gun and for the life of me, I can't seem to find any matches with my google skills. What look to be the interlocking P's having me thinking it could be a Pietta, but maybe a San Paolo...I'm assuming the left symbol is the importer and the right one, the manufacturer
Does anyone recognize this?
Thanks,
dgfd

That is the EIG importer mark. Guys name was Saul Eig and was located in Florida. Imported percussion revolvers from different Italian makers from the late 1950's through the late 1960's. His imported pistols from various makers had his EIG import mark on them. The mark to the right of the EIG on your pistol is LGC which indicates the pistol was made by Luciano Giacosa & Co. He made pistols under the name of Euromanuarms in the 60's and supplied pistols to EIG. When EIG went away he supplied them to FIE.
