I'd be interested in seeing other's kit. Internal pouches, sleeves and compartments..

Thanks,Rob.

I just started to, ( I also shoot a Baker.)Since I load from a horn, I use it as a "bag.(patches, balls ect.) your strap is GREAT :hatsoff: Any chance on you posting a pic of the back & a couple of shots of the "assy"pouch. Looks like something I would like to make :thanks:

Also does anyone have any ideas on mounting a Brit. cart.box plate to the box ???? (its from "Track of the Wolf. Pg113 of their cat.

:thanks:

Here is the inside and the starter and primer pouch....

Was it the back of the pouch or the belt that you wanted to look at? I think that I am going to move the primer, starter and the patch pouch to a single pouch on a belt on the waist. Easier to get at the patches...

Thanks, Rob

The inside of the pouch......and belt.

Yes, I want to mount ,the above mention ed plate to the front flap
:thanks: Puffer

I think that looks like a great box. What weight leather did you use? And, did you make the pattern or did you find one somewhere?
BTW, those are the neatest looking cartridges I ever saw.

I didn't make the box I'm afraid.... The belt, the holster for the starter and the priming flask, the loops for the horn lanyard and a new internal block with holes for powder charges and a spill-proof compartment for balls was all I did. The box is made of heavy bridle leather... as is the belt.
Thanks, Rob

I made my RevWar box and use it for re-enacting events. I intend to make another to use for hunting with my Tulle. I am looking about for some pattern info for that and also for an 1812 box as well. Got the leather, supplies and tools -- just need the patterns and time.

Could you shed some light on the cartridges you show in the box? Load, construction, etc?
Thanks, Kevin.

The cartridges are made from a strip of computer paper 2 1/8 wide by 11 1/2 long. I fold them in half and then roll then around a 1/2" dowel and secure with tape. Then I wrap a piece of 3x4 waxed paper around the tube and fold the end and tape again. They are filled with 70gr 3F and twisted closed. The balls are in the end compartment of the box under the leather cover.

Thanks, Rob
