Are the new smr kit’s barrel tenons drilled? I know they didn’t used to be. If not I think I should probably order a 1/16” drill guide.

My SMR kit came with a drill guide.
Ok cool. Did you buy it recently? If so that solves that.
Tenons aren't drilled or slotted on the SMR. The kit does come with a drill guid bushing and drill bits to make the job easier.
I bought it 2 or 4 years ago. The best thing to do is just give Kiblers a call.
