Has anyone had any experience with this hawk. I am new and looking to purchase my first hawk. I have been reading up on as many as I can. I don't want to break the bank on one. Not sure if it something I will spend a lot of time trying to master. I have looked at more expensive and a lot cheaper hawks and this one looked like one in the middle. Thanks for any help is appreciated.

What I found was Donelson tomahawks. From the descriptions of construction and dedication to historical accuracy, they should be fine tomahawks, if not great ones. Pics look good. I did not check prices.

You are correct on Donelson being the correct spelling thanks.

I really think I am going to get this hawk for my birthday in a month. If anybody has other suggestions please add. Thanks

I see on the web site that the edge on the hawks is case hardened. Am I mistaken in my thinking that after a few sharpening's get down into the soft material that the edge will have to be case hardened again? I really like the polled hawks. Mike
