I am a man and have not read the rules (cuz we just don't) BUT I hear there are a certain # of posts required. Not sure if this goes away with the $check$ or not.

What dies it look like on other side any dent in barrel or cracks in wood?

a dime fits with little room left. It measures just over .7 of an inch on a caliper. So I would say 12 gauge.
