After seeing Tommy Bruce's fowler I am thinking about selling or trading my Appalachian 40 cal poor boy rifle. I would like to see your fowlers
to help me make my decision tp bite the fowler bullet.

12 ga, jug choked, plank build with the barrel inletting by Fred Miller and made using TOW fowler plans for a reference.

I made it for turkey and deer hunting hunting but health issues, old age and loss of hunting land have kept me from putting turkey in front of it.

The neck shot on the buck was one I took at about 25 yards to finish him off while he was flip flopping on the ground from a high shoulder first shot, he ducked when the pan flashed.

20ga cylinder bore flint gun. It came with a rear sight and I shoot it just like a rifle. It eats mostly ball, is accurate and super reliable. The sights work with shot, too. It has more wood on the stock than I like but is still a high quality gun.
