Lock and barrel were purchased for a peice of wood that I won at the Oregon Gunmaker's School. I desided to make all the other hardware. It has been awhile, but here it is up to this point.

barrel and lock inletted, trigger forged and inlet. Trigger may not be the final one.

I needed help with the buttcap. A little too much forging for a propane torch, so Sparky forged the basics, and I trimmed it to fit my design.

Triggerguard. The main forging is done. It will be cleaned up some, but I am liking it too this point.

The Dutch dragoon that I am using as an inspiration didn't have them. But this isn't an exact copy, so I left off the back strap extention that ran nearly to the tang. It just didn't look right to me.
