Robin, I believe there is one in a DGW catalog. The one you pictured may be from the catalog. I’m not at home to check but if there is no answer in three or four hours I’ll check and see.
Good luck.

Where did you find the original chart? It looks very handy.

However, it should not be much trouble just to open a MS Word document and enter those data by hand. Good exercise for your brain, and you could save it on your computer and print a new one any time you want a clean copy without coffee rings on it.

The powder charges are easy to calculate if you have no chart, though… if you have a calculator. 7,000 grains to the pound, 16 ounces to a pound, 16 drams to an ounce, 256 drams to the pound, 27.34375 grains per dram.

The shot equivalents on that chart are another matter. I don’t know how to calculate that, and in fact the actual weight for any given volume of shot may vary according to the size of the pellets. It looks as if whoever did that chart figured 1/8 ounce of shot per quarter-dram of powder for loads above 2 drams and 3/4 ounce of shot. I can’t say how accurate that is, but it is a handy reference nonetheless.

Best regards,

Notchy Bob

Robin, I searched high and low for my only DGW catalog but could not find it. Maybe another member can jump into this thread with the info. Their catalog has a lot of information in the back and I suspect the chart you are looking for came from there. I ordered a new one but it will be weeks before I get it.
Good luck in your quest.

Thank you fellows. I could just print out a bunch of data from the web, but that little picture seem to fit in with what I already have.

I call it a shop, some call it the museum, one old friend that taught art for forty years calls it the studio, that's a bit pretentious for me so I just call it the shop. 90% of what I do is done by hand and though there are a couple time savers, for the most part it is just a work bench, a bunch of vises and the thing's I have made using those things.
Not remembering thing's is part of getting old, or so I am told, and I cannot remember where I got that little chart. Oh well, I'll use what I have and like myself, kind'a ratty, but still functional.

You can by becoming a supporting member, also get to go to the members only sub-forums.
I sent a check to," Muzzle loader Forum" after sending my credit card information and failing . The lady in charge tried to guide me but I no very little about computers and how to navigate them. Anyhow I never got a reply as to whether my check arrived or not? I am waiting for my bank statement to see if the check was cashed. I have tried numerous times to join and even had several conversations with the woman in charge,"Meriweather?" (spelling)?"but she was no help. I don't understand why it is so complex to me? It is not that I am stupid I hope? LOL! I appreciate you for answering my post. This may possibly cure the problem?

I have seen that chart, and recently. It is from one of the many online vendors. If I come across it again, I'll let you know.

I kind of feel like a paper copy might have come with my shot dipper.

Maybe email that picture to Track Of The Wolf and see if they have it.

Is it just me or are others having trouble with ads popping up in the middle of the post? I am so sick of it and wish I could get rid of the trash.

There's something in "settings" you can click to not see ads that I used but I don't remember exactly how I did it.

Why can't you type a new version of this yourself? You can do it with WORD or EXCEL. If you have an Old School manual typewriter that would work too. If you do it with WORD or EXCEL you can print a new copy any time you need one.
