My first post here, and didn't know whether to post it here or in the smoothbore section. Does anyone know if you can get a drop in smoothbore[.54/28 ga.] for a flintlock .54 cal. lyman trade rifle? If there is this looks like an economical way for me to get back into trad. muzzleloading. I want a .54 cal flintlock for deer, but would like to work up some smoothbore shotgun loads for squirrels, rather than buy a different small cal. rifle for them , or try to download the .54. Any answers out there? Thanks.
