Got the pedersoli sxs out today to find what will work for ducks. Using 90 grains swiss 2f and 1 3/8 #4 bismuth. Shot at 30 yards. I didn't have anymore of my rosin paper for bigger targets, so I used some leftover wrapping paper.

This is the modified choke at 30 yards. It has 80% of the pellets in a 30 inch circle. Does this seem too tight? I'm going to buy a new imp cyl choke because the ones I have are 2 different brands and it's about the same diameter as the mod I have. I'm planning on running mod/imp cyl. I tried adding 10 grains of powder and it blew the pattern to smithereens.

I don't duck hunt. I wish I new more.

if 30 is min range for that mod barrel. I'd leave it.

If your looking to shoot out to 40 maybe up the choke one improved modified but I wouldn't. 35 yards with that should be good.

I read a little bit about this. Looks like your working out right. You made it as fast as it will hold pattern.

Correct shot size.

The chokes. close range. Mid range.

It's good work I think.
