Hey fellers, been a while since I posted anything. My better half and I saw a neat war club in a Native American book and just had to make one.
I used a piece of old chestnut that I got from a buddy at work. Forged the blade from a cultivator finger and put it together with pinion pitch.
After it was shaped and "antiqued" my wife put on the roach, making it look somewhat like a woodduck.
Hope y'all like...Bud

Length: 20"
Blade: 5"
Eye: brass and copper pins

Hi Tom, it was in the book "The American Indian" by Colin Taylor, pg. 261.
It's a very good resource/reference guide with lots of pictures...Bud
