I liked them both, the second was closer to the book and the location more like the real winding stair mountians. Both missed the humor that ran through the book
For just pure entertainment purposes i like Silverado. Especially liked the scene where Jake (Costner) walked backwards and barefoot out a saloon corner door, made a sound to get noticed then shot two bad guys same time. Not the greatest acting in the world but fun to watch.
