“The next person who leaves for New Orleans will do so with a lead ball in his back!”

Forgive me if this has been mentioned as I have not been through all 7 pages yet. I was just seeing that NetFlix has a new miniseries coming out Jan 9 (6 episodes), called "American Primeval". The writer was involved with "The Reverent". Main character is played by Taylor Kitsch who played Lt Tim Murphy in "Lone Survivor". It takes place in 1857. Trailer does not show weaponry, except for a 'hawk attack and the poster shows a C&B revolver. Will have to wait and see. Hopeful!

One movie I have to watch if it's on is The White Buffalo with Charles Bronson.
I hate to say it, but we tried to watch it last night....and it was simply horrible. Most of the sets looked like cheesy Star Trek sets, the story line simply didnt make any sense...some great western actors in it, but they werent given much to go with. And what was it with Wild Bill sporting twin peacemakers?

I’d like to see something come out on King Phillips War. It’s very much lost to history but still stands as the most casualties per population in American (colonial) history.

Saw the trailer, looks promising. had the wife sign up for the month just to watch it, then have her cancel it. 98% of netflix is trash.

Great thread, I’m making a list. Don’t know how I’m gonna find some of these movies but I’ll try. Seen most of them but some never or a very long time ago. Love Richard Harris, great actor, I read the horn blower series.
When my two girls were real little, I was watching them one day and I said , I know what we can watch, a great movie called a man called horse. My wife came home and couldn’t believe I let the girls watch it, lol. I was supposed to watch Snow White or something like that with them. She was not happy. 😂
