Me that is. I passed on a like new TC Renegade with set triggers last saturday for $200. Was I as dumb as I feel?

Dont feel too bad there is a TC Hawken here in Arkansas for 100 dollars that I simply cant do anything about until tomorrow. Hopefully it is still available.

Sounds like a great deal. Hopefully it's still there when you go back. Deals like that do come around from time to time. I recently picked up a Renegade that someone fitted a blackened cresent butt plate to and replaced the barrel with a 1:60 or 1:66 Green Mountain barrel for $160 shipped to my door! Guess who's going to be in the woods with me this weekend for opening day of firearm season?!

I can usually source a Hawken or Renegade around here for under 200 dollars but just recently realized what they were actually worth. I picked my .50 Renegade up for a whopping 25 dollars. It isnt pretty but it brings home the meat. As soon as pay hits the bank im off to finding another Renegade or a Hawken. I hope to have several by the end of the year. I plan on building my father a really nice gun and present it to him next hunting season when we meet up in the field.
