yesterday I walk out to my shooting bench, standing right next to it is a Deer, today I am pouring powder down the barrel and one walks out of the woods to around 15 feet in front of me and stands there and looks at me. What I want to know is WHERE ARE THEY WHEN SEASON IS OPEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ::

Harpman.... they are at the same place the deer in Kansas are when I go bow huntin'. They're a hidin' behind that big ol' 1" willer tree. Actually, I have proof that the State of Kansas has hired that 1" willer tree ta follow me all over the state and jump out at the last second in front of my arrow. I'm considerin' takin' legal action agin' em. That one tree has cost me four deer over the years.

I've always asked myself that same question, and a few years ago, I got the answer....I was hunting mule deer just outside of Cody, WY and bagged a big doe on the last day of my hunt. I left early the next morning (around 6 A.M.)and wished the group of fellows who came in from Texas the day before the best of luck. As I was driving through downtown Cody, a group of 6 mule deer, including 2 nice bucks, ran acoss the road in front of me IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TOWN! ::
And to make it even more interesting, they were running from the parking lot of one bar to the parking lot of another! :haha:
...so next time you can't find a deer during the season, head for the bars in town and check out the parking lots! :winking:

They are still there, most people don't hunt at their shooting benches, and the deer know this... :winking:

They are in the same places you see them now they just wear camo. You know the kind with scent lock, no see'um face guard, 2 patern reversible and weather block. :what:
