If you are interested in duPont powders, competitors offerings and the history of black powder making in America, go to the Hagley Museum website. There is enough info there to overwhelm anybody's curiosity. When I worked for duPont in Wilmington, Delaware, my wife had a friend at the Hagley and we saw amazing items seldom put on display
 
My father worked for Dupont in the 50's. Wish he had grabbed some of the old tins.
and you will kindly note it is GUN POWDER because then that was all there was.
Gun Powder and the other stuff is smokessomewhatless powder a passing fad it will not last
