I had not even thought about them in years . a real oldie. Try some ceramic cutting bits, a machinest can get them for you .
 
I believe there was a warning with the Duraflints
that said they were made from depleted uranium or something similar that was radioactive. Black English or just the stuff I pick up off the ground here works well for me.
 
I tried the duraflint. NO warning about anything. They are made from some sort of ceramic material. I had no problems with excessive frizzen wear, however I had to sharpen every 3-4 shots with a diamond file, which I considered a pain and they were too short to fit well in my Silar locks. I believe they went out of business but am not sure.
