I don't know of any ML clubs in the Durango area but there used to be one in Pagosa Spgs but I haven't heard anything from them in several years. I'm trying to restart out club in the San Luis Valley as most of our members have moved away or quit. I'm in the South Fork area so I'm not far from Durango. You can find me on the CSMLA.org web site and contact me that way and we can talk.
Thanks

Howls, Thanks a bunch for your response. I'll look you up on the CSMLA page. I'm also a member there.

I remember the Pagosa Springs club now that you mention it. Think it was called Wolf Creek or something like that.

Reason for my inquiry is that my grandson will be starting college in Durango at Ft Lewis in the fall. I want to get him in with some of the locals. One problem he will have is storing his guns since he will be living on campus.

Good luck in re-starting the club. Will you be at Convention this coming week end?

Also, belated "Happy Birthday" :)

Marmotslayer,
Yes I will be at the convention this weekend. I have too being the current president of the CSMLA.
You are correct that the Pagosa club was the Wolf Creek Muzzle Loaders. Thanks for the B-Day wish.
Please attend the meeting Saturday @ 3:00P.M. for election of officers. You can nominate me for pres. I'll be happy to serve at least another year as president of the CSMLA.
Howls AKA Earl

I'm planning on being there. Seems like you deserve the vote. Kinda thought that was "you" when you mentioned the South Fork area. :)
