These haven't been made in years and you don't see these often. Very good condition and beautiful wood. Barrel and furniture a deep brown except for the nose cone. A little minor wear on the edges of octagon barrel.

$625 shipped CONUS. PayPal F&F or USPS Money Order.

Probably going to show my ignorance but who makes this rifle? My assumption is Great Plains is a style not the manufacturer

very nice rifle, I have had excellent accuracy with the Investarm products.. I have one of the last Investarm hawken style 58 cal flintlocks.

both my investarm rifles have only 6 lands. I believe I have a .58 numrich barrel with more lands on a Hopkins and Allen underhammer rifle.

I have never seen a WISCHO marked rifle by INVESTARMS but they did make rifles for several retailers. AI date code would make this rifle a 1982 model.
I researched this several years ago and determined Lyman may have made this for a German Sporting Goods company named Wischo. IMO MUch better quality than Lyman has produced in last 10+ years.

I don't think Lyman made any investarms rifles, I believe investarms made them for Lyman, and cabelas, and this wischo company. I could be wrong but I have spoken to the guy that started Branson arms, and basically back then you could approach most Italian makers and have your name put on the barrels
