For your consideration...
Dixie Gun Works, Early American Jaeger, made by Pedersoli.
54 Cal Flintlock.
$525 split the shipping
She wears with honor the scars of so many adventures (and a few actual battles).
She has won a few woods-walk matches at rendezvous. Spent many a New Year's Eve deep in the Montana wilderness primitive trapping. Even saved my life once when the plastic lighter broke in -20F after falling through the ice on an overnight quest with snowshoes... Sure glad I had a flintlock, as she set-spark to the char cloth I had along wrapped in oil cloth. And nope she wouldn't fire her main charge after the swim out.
She has been a good companion and deserves to be in the woods...not locked in the safe, so it's time to pass her on. She is plenty well used, the pictures show it and the price reflects it...but she shoots true!
Here are the specs from DIxie.. FR0838 DGW EARLY AMERICAN JAEGER FLINT RIFLE
This is not a crack.. it is a scratch from where we tangled with a 32Lb Bobcat
Pm me here for more info and pictures.
Thanks folks
