I am selling this Early Colonial .54 calibre rifle built and signed by Jesse Brennan. Rifle is signed on the top flat on a silver plate inlay. Length of pull is about 13 3/4" to the front trigger. Chambers lock and carbon steel vent liner. Stocked in maple with looks to me homemade sights and thimbles. The barrel is swamped and 44" in length. I am not sure of the barrel maker as the only markings I can make out on the bottom flat are .54cal and 1:56 twist. The barrel has 7 grooves and is round bottom rifling. It is bright and shiny with no rust or pitting. This rifle shoots well with 80gr. FF Goex and .020 pillow ticking and a .530 ball. I am looking to get $2600 shipped in a wooden crate. I would be willing to entertain trades for Southern mountain guns original or contemporary and also civil war arms. Feel free to ask any questions.
Regards,
James
