Is this a smoothbore? I couldn't find anything about rate of twist and caliber was also given in gauge number. I like the look of it and I am interested in getting a smoothbore.

Thanks,

History - just call Don at the Possible Shop. He is a good guy and will be able to answer whatever questions you have.

This gun, along with a few others is also available from the original maker, Northstar West. Just type that name into your browser window and you should get there. Northstar also sells them as kits and finished but in the white, at a substantial savings. You get to do the finish work and do a little personalizing if you like. These guns, to my knowledge, are smooth bores, but a call to North Star might get you a rifled bore as these are semi-custom guns.

whats the cost of this gun....was thinking bout getting one also....or the link to there site to look myself.........bob

Try www.northstarwest.com. Price for the finished gun is around $975.00. The kit and in-the-white version are quite a bit less. There are several versions of the trade guns available including a Chief's version. These are quality pieces. The company has been around for a long time and was originally founded by Curly Gostomski, a name that will be familiar to many greybeards.

Frizzen, That link isn't working. I tried several search results on Google and couldn't get anything there either.

You're right. It was fine this afternoon--maybe they're modifying the site. The Possibles Shop carries the same guns anyway and the prices are pretty much the same, so you
don't lose anything by dealing with them. These guns are not only authentic, quality pieces, but they are very versatile and useful guns as well. And their light weight is also an asset.

There are similar guns on the sites of The Gun Works and TOTW. You might check them out and call the two dealers to ask questions. Both have been forthcoming with answers I've asked.
