Anyone else have a special eary squirrel season? Ky comes in June 4-17 for the early season...and I am itching to get the .32flinter in the woods.... :front:

I can hardly wait and hope it works out that I can make it in the woods at least one day...else I'll have to wait till mid-Aug!

We gotta wait til Sept. here in Michigan :curse: Wish we could hunt them in the summer.

Opens Saturday here and is open until Febuary. I will be in the woods at least one day this weekend.

Don't open till deer season around here and I don't get to hunt them till after that in the small game season in Jan. but the place is crawlin with um..

Our season doesn't open until Sept 15th here in Michigan. Huntin squirrels with my .32 flinter is one of my favorite pastimes.

Here's a picture of a successful morning back in 1978

Yup, here in Oklahoma our squirrel season opens May 15. We've been having a ball in the squirrel woods for over two weeks.

Season doesn't start here until August. I started hunting them with a little .36 Underhammer a couple of years ago and learned the hard way not to shoot them in the shoulder . I swear guys there was only about 20 grains of fffg behind that ball and it ruint that squirrel for the pot. Buy the way, if you skin 'em and quarter 'em and then parboil the meat for about an hour, then brown it in some crisco and make milk gravy from the leavin's, then bake some biscuits, heaven on a plate. Course I have a relative who claims you can eat an old tire if you smother it in milk gravy. :: Hey, I think I've figured out how to make those little gremlins work.
