I was lucky to be kind of a reloading scrounger before I was married. I still have lots of odds and ends mismatched components that I can use up it seems. Way too much of a tinker I am though. It is difficult to have any particular gun ready to race when the particular season happens to arrive. My guns get taken apart and worked over way too much, but I don't like the little nuances that, well, I just don't like.

Just bought a Lee .562 double cavity round ball mold, new for $30.70 with free shipping on E-bay.
Least expensive one I could find.
I feel good about.
Till somebody on here tells me they'll send me 2 for free and include 500 rounds, free shipping.

Never was a truer word spoken ! Last week I was at the range with My three T/C muzzle loaders, Seneca .36, Cherokee .45, Hawken .50, and 3 Colt 1851 Navies just spending the day shooting. Lots of questions, but one individual fell in love with the Seneca and said he had to have it. After some time I was facing 7- $100 bills. I thought he was crazy at the time, but as time went on I was beginning to think I was crazy for even thinking about selling it. Got it a long time ago for a good price at a gun shop, had some rifling issues. Lots of memories with this gun hunting and shooting in matches, and other people shooting it. Guess I am crazy I kept it:dunno:
Good decision not crazy

You don’t buy guns to sell them unless you are a dealer😱👍👍👍

The tc parts issue may become more serious as time goes on. TC lock "had" a lifetime guarantee which is no more and many are either wearing out or breaking. TC parts are becoming dear and it may be cheaper to replace with one made by someone else.

I can’t imagine paying shipping on lead. I will be trying to sell a BUNCH of lead in the near future for my best friends widow. My buddy told me shortly before he passed that he had over 700 lbs. altho most of it isn’t soft enough for my liking. Greg
Most people are unaware that Fastenal ships. It has to be secured on a DURABLE pallet ( they tend to be a little rough ) and dropped off at your local Fastenal. They use empty space on their trucks, and it will eventually arrive at the Fastenal store you designate as the destination, where it can be picked up by the person you intend the package for. This system works great for heavy items and costs about 1/3 of shipping by common carrier. I used to ship one lung farm engines that way.

One advantage I've seen is at least some oversight of scammers. I bought a part for an antiqe "unmentionable" shotgun, ended up being a duplicate of one I actually had. Seller had a "return" policy. Tho' I started to return it, decided to scrap that idea b/c it was really too much trouble. Ebay followed up, queried why I didn't return it. Honestly, it wasn't the fault of the seller, I just changed my mind.

So that was a good thing if I understand what happened. Seller had like 6,000 transactions with an excellent rating. At least on Ebay there's oversight.
