I am looking for a period sailor's sea bag to go with the period rigging knife I am making. Who is selling them?

If you are making the rigging gear, you should make the riggers bag as well.

so are you wanting a sailors bag or a riggers bag? a sailors bag is large like a modern duffle bag. a riggers bag holds your tools and can be used to hoist small parts up and down the rigging from the deck. be sure to put a tether on that knife and the bosuns spike you will want to make next as dropping a tool from the rigging is an unpardonable sin. on the LADY WASHINGTON and her sister ships if you drop a tool and it is retrieved by someone else you have to buy a round for the whole crew on board
