Hi.
Do you know what, on Earth, it is? :shocked2:

I cannot find any further features of it, besides these included in title.
 
According to Flayderman's Guide:

"Ellis-Jennings sliding lock repeating flintlock rifle--Made by Reuben Ellis of Albany, New York, c.1828. Total quantity ordered 520".

There were two types...one for four shots and another model for ten shots. The loads were superposed on top of each other. There were individual touchholes for each load.
These were made on the Model 1817 common rifle.

Obviously, you would have to be very precise in loading each charge. It's a very rare firearm.

If you made it to the tenth shot would that be a compressed load? :grin:
