Hello all,

I originally put this in the percussion guns forum, but figured it would be more fitting on this one.

Could anyone help me ID the maker of this reproduction 1858 2-band Enfield? I’m still fairly new to muzzleloading. I can’t find other examples where the barrel is in the white but the lock is not. There were few markings on the barrel that make sense to me. Would there possibly be more markings on the underside of the barrel? Any help is appreciated!

Not sure who made it, but it looks like it's been defarbed. That's probably why the barrel is in the white, because the bluing that comes from the factories isn't not a correct bluing that would have been on an original. So it is sometimes just removed. If it's defarbed you'll find the serial number moved to the bottom of the barrel. Maybe a makers stamp as well. Nice rifle.
