I JUST CAME ACROSS A SITE THAT HAS REPRODUCTION MILITARY FIREARMS FOR SALE, THE COMPANY IS MilitaryHeritage.com, AMONG THIER LISTINGS IS AN ENGLISH CAVALRY PISTOL. APPARENTLY THESE COME OUT OF CANADA AND ARE SOLD AS NON FIRING REPLICAS (THE VENT HOLE ISN'T DRILLED), HOWEVER THE COMPANY STATES RIGHT ON THE POST THAT "A certified gunsmith may alter these pistols to a firing state by drilling the vent hole and test firing it." MY QUESTION IS, HAVE ANY OF YOU DEALT WITH THIS COMPANY IN THE PAST, OR GONE THIS ROUTE OF CONVERTING A REPLICA? I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A BRACE OF THESE LONG BARRELED HORSE PISTOLS, BUT I'M NOT SURE THIS IS THE WAY TO GO ABOUT GETTING THEM. THOUGHTS? OPINIONS?
