Finished today and available for purchase is a really handsome Right-side carry Powder Horn, Number 77.
It features several familiar features as my other horns such as the double-ring on the spout, a small step from neck to the body, and a twisted staple. Nicely engraved with various motifs and a hint of color-blended ink in in places such as the side medallions and the quilting lines.
I don't think you will find too many other horns like this one; a really nice display horn as well as a useful and attractive accompaniment to your shooting rig.
The horn measures almost 12" along the bottom curve and the Cherry base plug is 2" x 2.5" wide, secured by wooden dowels.
I am asking $400 plus $10 shipping for this really nice horn.
Thanks for looking!
~Bob
