Enough spark?

Is that the only flint you own?

Like some have said, the flint is too big for the lock, cutting a notch in the leather may help set it back a little.

It should be a little ways away from the frizzen when at half cock, not touching the frizzen.

The flint should make one long scrape mark down the face of the frizzen.

That hump is awful, it can be ground down by several ways even by using a belt sander, just make sure you use a dust mask, rock dust in your lungs is forever.
 
New to flintlocks and having problems with first strike ignition, this video is after I squared up the flint and centered it up on the frizzen just wondering if the amount of spark looks about right or if I need to napp the flint? The video is at 1/4 speed
That looked solid, sparks directed right into the pan and bounced around a bit. Can’t really ask for more than that…
