Epoxy Finish?

Anyone ever use an (Epoxy Acetone) finsh on a Muzzleloader stcok. I know a few guys that use it on bows and arrows and it is very durable, just wondered if any of you guys have experimented with it on stocks. If so, What did you think of it and how did it hold up?

I use it on bows and arrows and think it would be great on barrel channels or any other place that needed a good sealer but it is too shiny and plastic looking for the exterior of a stock in my opinion.

This Sealer seems like it would be good for barrel channel.
