Just finished this one. 6" blade of 01 steel, Grip is turned cocobolo, and is 4" to the top of the threaded brass ball retainer nut. brass ferrule with file decorated iron guard and domed iron butt cap which is threaded to the through tang, as is the retainer nut. I still have to make a sheath for it. Hope you enjoy a look.

That is really nice wick. It seems like daggers are difficult to make but the results make it worth while.

Beautiful work, Wick. Daggers are difficult to make with the bevels even and uniform. That choice of wood for the handle is gorgeous. The metal work and the wood compliment each other, and the proportions of the blade to handle are right on. Very nice. I bet you almost wish you could keep that one.   :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

It was mean't to. Where is your dagger?? You ain't been doing your filework homework , have you? I ain't done that pattern in over five years, but just a little practice, and I got her done.

Hey Moderators, We need an icon of the little guy flickin the bird!

Hey Wick, (insert new icon here) :haha:
You know that dagger is for the wife, Only an idiot would be in a hurry to finish it!

Some of you guy's really tick me off, Now I'm gonna have to work so much harder to make something as sweet as that. I was almost happy with the rough stuff I make.
