Feel Free to share. This is one p1853 Enfield. Mix of Military and civilian parts, but stock was mint for its age with a great bore. Still kicking myself for letting it go.

At my age, and a long life behind, I can think of a couple similar that escaped me; sometimes protecting one's credit score takes precedence over holding onto an antique! I feel, ya, bro!

A friend of mine bought a Thompson Center White Mountain Carbine a few years ago for $20. It had a rusty bore but otherwise was like new. He asked me if I would clean it up and see if it would shoot. I did and it would. It shot very well in fact. I tried hard to buy that gun but he wouldn’t sell. I really hated handing it back to him.

Fullstock flintlock Ted Fellowes Beaver Lodge .50, I must have lost my head.

Pennsylvania flintlock by Ted Fellowes, got this one back after the fellow I sold it to passed. Unfortunately he was not a meticulous as I am about cleaning. The Sharon swamped barrel was perfect when I sold it, not so much anymore.

Not a muzzleloader but a Browning 1886 45-70, I wish I'd never met the girl I had to sell this one to get rid of. She was a looker but in hindsight the rifle was a lot prettier, safer too.

This is really making me sad, enough for now.

Sold a Euroarms M1841 a few months ago. It was a sweet gun! After I get through with graduate school and we pay down the mortgage some more, I'll get me another one!

Probably my first M/L, a Navy Arms Zouve I bought in 1970. The next would be a TC Hawkens kit I built in mid 70s. I got hung up in building flintlocks after that and got rid of the TC although it was a very accurate rifle. I never could get the Zouave to shoot well so I sold it to a guy who accuratized it and won tons of medals with it.

Colt 1851 Navy. The one's actually made by Colt in the 70's when they resumed production of them for a little while. I was raising money for a tractor. 'Sold a beat up but functional Colt Army along with it. Oh, and a mint trapdoor Springfield too.

Yes, me too. Several times. Had. to let go of a beautifully Allan Sandy Lancaster flint in .50 with a couple inlays and Allan's artful carving. Love to buy it back. Circumstances of life.
