Ever put Uberti grip on Pietta revolver?

Has anyone ever seen if a Uberti wood grip for a 1851 revolver would fit on a Pietta 1851 gun? Will it work without modification, or maybe with some fitting?

As I understand it, the Pietta grip is larger toward the lower back portion. I think the brass frame would have to be reshaped to fit Uberti wood.

It seems like it wouldn't work

Especially if it's the older Pietta "beaver tail" grip frame
