Wow, check out their prices on Venison! Of course, it's "New Zealand" venison...

Venison Tenderloin - $23.80/lb.
Venison Flank Steaks - $10/lb.

I would like to try some kangaroo, I've heard Kangaroo Satay is pretty tasty.

Since the South is blessed with 'possums, snapping turtles, rattlesnakes, beavers, racoon, and groundhogs not to mention whitetail deer I think I'll keep my $$ here!! 'exotic meat' :blah:

Ky Man,
I can afford the meat....I just can afford to get the gas to pick it up:rotf::rotf::rotf:
snake-eyes :hmm:

Well I would hate to say how much most folks in the US Of A spend on a pound of deer meat. And now with higher fuel cost it is many times that price.
We have 1,000s of folks who drive out here to the "Shinning Mtns" every year from back east. They come out for a Mule Deer. That meat has to cost well over $200.00 dollars a Lbs. I know we do it for the sport.

redwing,
That is assuming they harvest a deer.Otherwise
even a hamburger would go fairly high.Remember its not the harvest but the hunt.
