"Hudson Bay" with Paul Muni and Vincent Price,About Pierre Raddison and Hudson Bay,Their French accents and broken english is a riot :rotf: Hard to find and rarely shown on Turner Movie Classics but I was able to get on video a couple years ago by seaching for rare movies and Hudson Bay...Good luck..Mark

Mark, you should really read the original book by Raddison. There are two editions with the last one being a re-editing putting his "voyages" into proper order.I have both and Raddison is one of the really great sources for 17th century New France along with great Indian{Mohawk} material.

I actually like Last of the Mohicans (the newest version), and I have a 1936 version starring Randolph Scott that I like as well. Most period movies I cannot stand...too goofy, bad outfits, bad acting, too offensive, etc. Of course, I say the same things about MOST movies period!

Here's a good one no one else has mentioned yet, "The Madness of King George".

I liked Allegany Uprising too. But I saw this old show with Cary Grant about the revolution, on TMC this week, later they said he hated wearing outfits/costumes and would never do another movie wearing costumes again. But is was a good show.
