Fellow Arkansans, Howdy. I am looking to learn about flintlocks, maybe even have a chance to try one out. Are there clubs or meetings in our state where I might get such a chance? I'm grateful for any leads. (Also, if anyone is looking to sell something good for a beginner, I'd be glad to hear about it.)

I suggest searching the NMLRA website for clubs in your area.

Yes there is.
Arkansas MLA shoots, near Russelville.
I can't remember the name of the town however it's not far.
Go to the nmlra.org website and contact rep Leesa Davis, she can point you in the right direction and info for shoot dates.

Third weekend in May is the Arkansas State championship at Berryville AR. A very fun time,
also a few vendors. Usually around 100 shooters.
