The more I use this powder, the more I like it in my smoothbore trade gun. Used to use ffg or fffg, was never really satisfied with my shooting round ball. Since using fg powder my shooting round ball has improved a lot. With ffg or fffg I allways had to sight down the left side of barrel, if sighting down the center of barrel it would allways shoot way right. With the fg, seems to shoot good sighting down the center of barrel. A lot more easy to shoot with less recoil too. Will have to try shot next. chuck

One insight worth passing along:

You'll read about using less powder than shot by volume for best patterns with 2f or 3f.

In my 20, 12 and 10 gauges, that changes with 1f. You can use the same volumes of powder and shot with great results. For my field shooting it's pretty handy to just use the same measure for both. One less thing to carry, and one fewer way to mess up.
