Well, I finally got the GPR kit gun finished up. The heat and humidity has been really giving me fits, but I put a couple of coats of wax on the wood yesterday and called it quits.
I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out, and it seems like it's gonna be a real shooter.
Here are a few pictures:

Thanks everybody for the compliments!
It was a fun project.

Thanks Joe and PD!!
I shot the GPR a little more this afternoon, and it's just getting better all the time. 3 shots from sand bags with 50 grains of 3F and a .530 PRB went into a ragged hole at 30 yards, and 3 more shots off hand at the same distance went into a little more than an inch and a half. :winking: That was with spit-patched pillow ticking too.
I just don't see how you could find a better "kit gun" for the price.

That's a fine lookin rifle FW and shoots good too..can't ask for no more than that.

Thats down rite turrible lookin Fw707!(NOT) You best send rite along to me so's I can dispose of it properly, and spare you the pain of ownin it!
