I finished my sixth build last night, wanted to share :)

The basics are;

Lehigh pre-carve (this was one of the first hundred from Pecatonica, my uncle had it in his safe for a long time.. It was good and dry )
Douglas 36cal 13/16 cut to 40 1/4"
Large Siler Deluxe
Davis 004
German Silver hardware
machined sites
Danglers Red-brown on top of Solar Lux lemon yellow
Tru-oil finish ( 16 coats rubbed in very thin)

That's a beautiful rifle. The wood to metal finish is nice and I really like the thumb piece on the wrist. Not to mention a fine piece of wood.
 
That is a good looking rifle. I like the color & the finish. Well Done.. :thumbsup:
 
absoulute pretty build. did a real nice job . take out #1 and look at how much you have improved too....
 
That is one beautifull rifle! :hmm: You wouldn't by any chance have any more Douglas barrels laying around would you? :hmm: :hmm:
