At a recent FIW week-end I was so sick of fishing around in my main pack for my fire kit that I was driven to make a belt pouch for it. It came out OK:-

What all do you have in that kit. was wondering about the rock -kinda looks like iron pyrite. is that a tinder tube I see in there also ? Mudd Turtle.
 
In reply to Silex - I made the front section 'tight', and then formed it to shape with some wet sand.

And to Mud Turtle - the rock is iron pyrite & I use it instead of flint - it sparks great. The 'tube' is just a roll of birch bark.
