I bought this in an antique gun shop in UK about 55 years ago and it has been a wall hanger since. Going through my collection and realize I know little about it. It appears to be a fairly basic quality trade gun but what? The action works perfectly.

I remember removing the barrel many years ago and seeing the word HUDSON under the wood.

It looks to have some proof marks opposite the lock on top.

The only clear writing looks like WARRNTED? - missing a letter?- behind the lock.

It appears to have a makers mark/logo in front of the lock but I can not make it out

Attached photos. Any information would certainly add to the intrinsic value to pass to my grandson who has always had his eye on it (not very interested in my modern rifles)

Hi,
It looks like some gun cobbled together for export or trade. It has Birmingham proofs on the barrel. It would be nice if you would post photos not oriented upside down so we don't have to crane our necks trying to view them properly. I really don't want to spend the time down loading the images and rotating them.
