I purchased a Bead Loom from the Log Cabin Shop.
This was my first weekend project.
Took about 6 hours. And about $10.00 dollars worth of pony beads. The loom was around $17.00 dollars.

Thats really nice. The red accents the black horn well! you did a fine job

When ya can say it looks great and works great you have accomplished your goal and it appears you have.

Love it. Looks great. Question for you, Does it make any noise if you roll it between your fingers or a peice of equipment rubs up against it?

No. It doesnt make any noise.
The beads are glass and the weave is tight.
It is like knitting with yarn only your knitting with glass pony beads.
It is a little heavy though.
But being wide it doesnt cut into my shoulder like a leather thong does.
Here is another project Im working on.
It will have a black background and will say (yun-wi-yah). Thats Cherokee for : we are the people.

No material backing.
I used artificial sinew for the main brace.
And I used super strong thread for sewing the beads on.
Just weave the thread back and forth through the beads across the sinew. Keep it pulled tight.
My second project is going a lot faster.

Sounds like this could get out of hand. I can think of all kinds of uses for beaded accent strips. Keep us posted.

Its not that hard.
Its pretty simple. My second project is going a lot faster then the first one.

Is that a leather cartridge belt wraped around
the base of the horn???

I used some scrap leather to make a holder for my adjustable chargers.
Its laced on the back but if I want to take it off I just slip it off at the end of the horn.
Its a lot easier to get to the chargers that way.
Especially when Im sighting in at defferent ranges and want to try different loads.
