Well, I've made a patch knife and sheath, a shot pouch and now (last nite) a shot block.

It's crafted of kiln dried red oak (free pallet board). The design is made up. Holds nine balls. Aged with Olde English, fire, and Crisco.

Guess the bag is the next project and a gun build after that.

Turned out purty nice.
... 'Cept it reminds me too much of the bigger board my grade school principal usta use on my backside. :shocked2:
 
Thanks! First one I've made yet and just went with the flow of construction.

Turns out it's exactly the size of a dollar bill plus the handle. The dollar only shows the corners when laid underneath it. About nine inches OAL.

Is this BIG as shot blocks go?
