The wingbone in my opinion is the most underrated of all the call types. Super deadly and can be worked to be hands free mounted on your gunstock.Congratulations on your beard bird!
I would love a chance to try out my wing bone call, and get Wild bird to make a couple more. I had to make mine from a store bought for now...

Obviously designed by one who does not know how to use use a wingbone call, but okayRubber band.
editing to say, A picture wouldn’t show the elegance of the technique.
Hey, I can gobble on a wingbone. A soft cluck is really nice as a bird closes in though.Obviously designed by one who does not know how to use use a wingbone call, but okay
You are better then I if you can make a gobble from a wingbone, best I can get is a Yelp, cackle, and cluck.Hey, I can gobble on a wingbone. A soft cluck is really nice as a bird closes in though.
Yes, no hand (which is definitely needed for gobbling and else) just the cluck like that, but I have found gentle kisses on the wingbone is very effective for close in turkeys in my neck of the woods. You are better then I if you can make a gobble from a wingbone, best I can get is a Yelp, cackle, and cluck.
But how do you get you hand over the end in order to get a full range of sounds if it's rubber banded to the stock?
