Congratulations! :thumb: Good looking doe.

Muzzleloader season weather in MN has been more like October than end of November. Looks like it keeps up through next week, so enjoy while you continue your search for antlers. You should have a good chance because the MN DNR says that deer are thick as ticks on a hound, and they wouldn't lie! ;):p
Out here at my place, you can sit in the woods all day and see nothing ... but then run over 3 on your way into town for groceries. It's all river bottom along the road and they seem to congregate in two certain areas .... one are to the north and one to the south. Both of those areas have feeders installed (I discovered that information this year). I do believe that's why I haven't seen the bucks that I usually see. If they're traveling through my section, it's probably at night. I do see scrapes. I hate to spend as much money as a feeder and feed would cost, but I need to hold them here some way or another. Right now, they're using my bottom ground as a highway ... I need to install an exit with a McDonalds lol .... or figure out how to install an infrared night vision scope on the ole Hawken.

Interesting since baiting is illegal. I guess you guys are outside the ever-expanding CWD area where any form of feeding is illegal since it encourages close contact and CWD transmission.

Feel for your situation. A farm next door to my small property leased out and quite suddenly all the deer on neighboring places disappeared. I told my wife I figured they were baiting. Went on for three years before the wardens made a raid on the place and arrested the whole bunch of them. Once the baiting stopped it didn't take long for deer to move off that farm again.
