I took a nice hog a few years ago on a hunt in AZ with an old friend but I shot it with my dad's Winchester Model 70 in .270 that he purchased new in 1951 or 52. That hog looked like a rhino coming out of the brush. When that bullet hit him, he looked like he stepped on the third rail of a subway track! He went DOWN - twitched a few and it was "Good Night Irean"! 😍
 
That was a great and satisfying hunt that you and your flintlock had. I much preferred all hunting with a flintlock back when I could still get out there and get it done. You did very well.
